Advice and support
The Wealden Business Group can help to take the element of chance out of making your business a success. There is no need to re-invent the wheel, and no need to wonder where to turn for advice.
Members of the Wealden Business Group willingly share their business experiences with each other, so other members need not be left to cut their own paths through the commercial jungle. A classic example is in the field of ICT - rather than risk learning from expensive, time-consuming and frustrating mistakes, members can use other members' experiences to plan their ICT development.
The ready availability of professional expertise from members of the Group means that an early, informal enquiry can be made on almost any subject. A brief word over coffee with a friendly lawyer, accountant, insurance broker, financial adviser, osteopath, surveyor, etc, can give a clear indication of action to be taken (or avoided)- hugely valuable in terms of saved money, time and energy.
Brief presentations by Group members on subjects within their expertise are given as part of the Group's regular activities - these presentations are always interesting and enlightening, and are very often of direct and valuable practical help.
Even if no member is able directly to resolve a particular problem, they probably know someone who can - members are encouraged to raise at meetings any business-related issues of concern or importance, with other members willing and able to provide useful advice and support.
